SkyTeam Virtual Alliance

SkyTeam Virtual Alliance was founded in August of 2018 by Air France-KLM and Delta Virtual. SkyTeam has been the dream of the leadership of the two Virtual Airlines since the conception of Infinite Flight’s Global Update in 2017. While it has been a long and tedious process to officially get to the point to release, we are excited to bring the biggest, boldest and best Virtual Alliance around bringing together two of the largest VA’s in the Infinite Flight Community and hopefully continue to expand with other members to join the SkyTeam Virtual Alliance in the future. The Sky Team Virtual Alliance operates behind the support of a strong staff that is made up of the AF-KLM Staff and the DLVA Board of Directors.

Operating Co-Presidents are @Omar_DeWindt (President of AF-KLM) and @MrMrMan (Board member for DLVA). All staff decisions are made based on each staff team. Omar will also serve as the Sky Team Event Coordinator. Beginning the first ever IFC Sky Team series, AF-KLM and DLVA have made it a mission to bring some of the largest and greatest events both internally and on the IFC. With the launch of Sky Team, we bring a new event series beginning soon named Sky Team: Destinations, which will run on the IFC behind both Virtual Airlines taking part. The mission of the series will be to focus on flights rarely taken within the VA to expand the horizon of both our pilots, and the footprint of our fleet.

Delta Virtual Air Lines officially opened behind its founder @USA007 in December of 2016. Since then, the VA has blossomed to one of the largest in the Infinite Flight Community that operates with 150 active pilots and an average of 40 to 50 flights logged per day. Going over the million-minute mark of Global in January, and two-million mark in April, the VA has been thriving behind a strong group of pilots. Delta Virtual operates a real-world based flight system where pilots use the same aircraft on routes as Delta uses in real life. The route system is constantly updated and features more than 1,600 real Delta routes for the pilots to enjoy!

Air France - KLM is a distinguished member of the Infinite Flight community since its formation in January of 2017. AF-KLM, founded by Stryder, Nabil Nohara, and Cameronrenwick, were once known as Air France Virtual Airline, later replicating the real-life merger between the two airlines to form AF-KLM as Avon’s leadership guided the VA through a major expansion. Through several leadership changes, @Omar_DeWindt has taken the Presidency as of July 27, 2018 and officially entered AF-KLM into the Sky Team Partnership.

We are the Italian virtual airline, founded by Italian IFC members. We believe that our saying Vivi, Ama, Vola (stands for live, love, fly) truly represents us, as our main mission is to be a family-friendly VA helping IF pilots to grow in the Virtual Airline world. We put quality over quantity, that is why we decided to join the SkyTeam alliance allowing our pilots to join other SkyTeam airlines and profit not only of code-sharing, but also rank-sharing and professional events.
